TrackSSL charges by certificate count: $17/month for 20 certificates, $35 for 80, $72 for 200. Every domain you add pushes you toward the next tier.

• Up to 20 certificates — TrackSSL is $17/mo against our $29. If you will never pass 20, they are cheaper, and you should know that from us rather than find it out later.

If you want the underlying failure in detail, certbot can exit 0 while your server keeps serving the old certificate — that is the gap a per-certificate expiry list does not close.
